Sean Considine

LPL Financial Planner

Sean Considine, LPL Financial Planner, joins our team from his hometown of Byron, IL.  Sean believes that discipline, commitment, execution and great communication are the building blocks to building success at any level or career.  As an Investment Advisor Representative and a fiduciary, Sean looks forward to developing the trust and strategies required to help clients come up with a financial game plan and stay on track to pursue financial success.  Sean is located at a local bank which positions him as a resource for full service financial needs.  He looks forward to becoming a financial hub for clients like having one trusted point of contact.  Sean holds his FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses with LPL Financial.

Sean has always enjoyed investing and long-term financial goals.  As a kid, he told everyone he wanted to be a stock broker, but settled on pursuing a football career.  Sean is a University of Iowa graduate where he earned a marketing degree while roaming the fields of Big Ten stadiums as a Free Safety for the Hawkeyes.  Sean was drafted into the NFL, where he had an eight-year career that ended after a Super Bowl Championship in 2012 with the Baltimore Ravens.  Sean settled back home with his wife Nicole to raise their five children and pursue his passion for financial planning.

The opportunities that football brought to Sean allowed him to get a deeper understanding of what financial professionals can do for their clients.  Having always been goal-oriented, Sean enjoys encouraging others to think along the lines of short term and long-term goals and how they fit into successful plans.  In this profession, Sean sees many similarities between the goals he set building his football career and the goals it takes to build strong financial plans and futures.

In his spare time, Sean enjoys coaching as a Defensive Coordinator at Byron High School, keeping up with his kids’ activities, wildlife management on his family farm, and staying involved with all the great local community events.
